Let’s all think about being in His image and after His likeness as He longs for us to be.

He paid a debt, He did not owe; I owed a debt, I could not pay.

Only God can give all of Himself to everyone.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

 

People want Jesus to be their Savior, but they don’t want Him to be their Lord.

Luke 16:13   No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

 

God needs our availability more than our ability.

Matthew 25:15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

 

The safest place to be is within the Will of God.

Luke 8:25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

 

 Unless we rely on God’s power within us, we will yield to the pressures around us.

  Man’s way leads to a hopeless end, God’s way leads to an endless hope.
